HomeNet Manager is a application that audits your home network. It provides a simple to use graphical display of all elements of the home network including PC’s, wireless and wired routing devices, digital video recorders, and gaming consoles. It monitors the status of each element in the home network. When a failure is detected, the application notifies the user and provides a sophisticated debugging tool for determining the source of the failure. HomeNet Manger’s debugging feature resolves problems that may arise in the home network. It solves common problems associated with networking Windows®-based computers together. The application can also help diagnose and repair problems with other elements in the home network. It also provides a Home Network step-by-step wizard that helps the user easily and instantly share network resources, such as files, printers, drivers, etc, with family members or co-workers. The Network Sharing Wizard eliminates the need for the user to understand how network resources are shared through standard Windows®’ interfaces. HomeNet Manger provides Network Drag and Drop functionality. A clean graphical interface allows the user to configure shared resources linked to multiple computers in the home network. This functionality eliminates the need for the user to understand the complex Window’s interfaces normally used for sharing network resources across multiple computers.
